Wonderland - Animatic

WONDERLAND

For this sprint, I created the animatic for the scene. We chose first person because we can showcase the environmental and character artists' work as best as possible. I personally wanted to work on my acting chops in animation and in voice acting so we decided that the main focus should be on the Red Queen.

We are still working on timing to make sure that the viewer and soak in the beautiful and grand environment and the thematic props and characters.

VR Interactive Character Proxy Pass

 VR Interactive Character Proxy Pass

This week we we're having extreme issues with our rig. At first we were ahead of schedule, but everything quickly came to a halt. Rigging a minion is extremely difficult but our tech artist did her best and gave me a model that I am able to at least do proxy animation to put into unreal. I realized how hard it was to animation a walk cycle for a minion. Their little legs and pill body was hard for me to translate, but I was able to do a proxy pass in the end, encompassing the basic walk cycle shape.

Week 11 - VR Minion Check-In

 Week 11 - VR Minion Check-In

This week I completed the hand animation for the thematic animation. It is when the player gets close to a minion and this animation triggers. Currently working on timing for the finger wiggling.

Silhouette: Link

 Silhouette: Ink Link

For my Silhouettes, I decided to use Link for my redesign. I took references from different amines, specifically Jujitsu Kaisen and look at other action poses. For silhouettes A-D, I wanted to stick with black and white. For silhouettes E-H I wanted to add more variations of greys to bring out more details.
